Tish (my wife) just had a shoulder replacement operation yesterday the 28th. She was (as was I) expecting a routine shoulder repair that would take 90 minutes in the OR. Instead of repair it turned into replacement and on her dominant arm to boot. The operation lasted 4 hours and took her (& me) by total surprise.
